The role will impact brilliant implementation of activities plan across market and portfolio. This is estimated of around 55% of total company investment in market.

Accountable with other teams within Customer Marketing for delivering financial, category growth and channel/customer targets.

Market Complexity

This role is responsible for thought leadership in both on and off-premise related to the brands of entire portfolio and all channels for specific regions.

Current positions are responsible for regions within the market: interior (Dialsa and Altipal), Costa (Meico & Dismel), Regional Festivities and Events.

It will involve significant collaboration internally with Field Sales, Account Management, Brand Marketing, Supply and Finance. To be successful, the ability to understand, adapt to and address the needs of the different groups will be essential.

Leadership Responsibilities:

To challenge and influence thinking within and outside Diageo about how to address market opportunities.

To coach commercial organization on measurement & evaluation, as well as brilliant execution capability within selected distributors.

Inspire and coach external sales force, trade marketing coordinators and 3PL/agencies to achieve brilliant execution at the point of sale.

The Associated Commercial Planning and Activation Manager provide Field Sales, Account Management or Distributor Sales Teams with the tools and support materials to drive brilliant execution of Sales Drivers with customers.

Overall, CP&A manage the commercial activity plan from aligning the cycle activities calendar to monitoring its implementation, ensuring the coherence and efficiency of our business plans and available resources, analyzing results versus objectives, flagging possible gaps, proposing course reviews and sharing learning.

Qualifications and Experience Required

University graduate

Commercial experience/exposure highly beneficial.

Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Key capability and experience gained in this role.

Experience of how the total Sales organization operates and how to improve its effectiveness.

Direct experience in the Diageo Way of Selling capabilities with strong exposure to Sales Drivers, Outlet Segmentation, Managing Relationships (particularly persuasive selling), Targeted Trade Investment and Customer Profitability.

Project management experience and managing internal and external stakeholders.

Experience of working with other parts of sales and other functions, particularly Field Sales and Account.

Management or Distributor sales teams
