The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for prospect qualification, opportunity identification, and customer positioning (identifying decision makers and influencers and building a trusting relationship). The BDM collaborates with and supports SVP Sales & Marketing in proposal development and closing.
• Prospect qualification, opportunity identification, customer positioning, proposal development and closing
• Collaboration with Marketing Representatives s in market research, lead generation and campaign management
• Working with and supporting pre-sales Project Managers, Business Analysts and Software Engineers
• Formulation of value propositions
• Sales presentations and reports preparation
• Participation in conferences / summits
• Account management
• RFI/RFP Management
• Development and implementation of market strategies and account plans
• Continue education in Software Development, Methodologies and Technologies
• Coordinate and host customer and prospect visits to the operations centers
• Management and maintenance of all leads, prospects, and opportunities in CRM
• Provide weekly/monthly reporting
Education and/or Experience:
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Proven track record of successful sales
• Software development/IT industry knowledge
• BS degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent planning and self-organizational skills
• Appropriate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other software programs
• Internet search skills
