Our important client, multinational company, one of the world's leading providers of supply chain solutions, located in Paseo Colón, is looking for a Database Administrator that will be in charge of working with the enterprise operations and IT to design database related solutions, understanding business needs and possibilities for IT solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency of existing tasks and realize new functionality. Improve database availability, performance, and quality via diagnostics, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely support. Monitor and analyze databases to ensure a high level of performance and availability. Ensure proper functioning and administration for all databases. Plan and execute database version patches and upgrades, including managing effects on existing databases.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering.
• More than 3 years’ experience with database administration.
• Expert knowledge of relational databases, with special focus on MS SQL Server.
• Bilingual English-Spanish (well written with excellent verbal communication skills).
• Schedule flexibility
• Expert ability to analyze, design and maintain databases.
• Expert knowledge of SQL.
• Strong knowledge of database performance and tuning, security, troubleshooting, and availability.
