• To select appropriate instructional procedures or methods to develop language skills
• To develop curricula (learning components or modules, assessments; etc.)
• To organize and develop language training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational material.
• To deliver Sykes Academy classes.
• To perform administrative functions (reports, account meetings, calibration sessions, etc)
• To support any language initiatives that will benefit the organization.
• To make sure all needed material, tools, facilities and other teaching related resources are available for delivery.
• To create, customize and upgrade material.
• To conduct coaching sessions on SYKES employees who need the extra support and as a follow up after course completion.
• To ensure that English training facilities are well organized.
• To propose action plans based on screening results.
• To organize and develop language training manuals (effective writing, grammar, accent reduction)
• To participate in teacher training opportunities as requested by Language Programs Manager (EPAP Certification Process and TESOL Certification)
• To keep accurate records of important stats and other types of critical information.
• To perform any other tasks, duties, and/or services requested by Language Programs Manager.
• Complete University studies in English Teaching and or similar
• TESOL Certification (preferable)
• Advanced English Speaker. Fluent in verbal and written English. High Proficiency level
• Proactive and with client relationship experience.
• Curriculum Design experience
• Familiarity with Language Needs Analysis
• Adaptability to change.
• Capable of working and reaching results under pressure
• Proven teaching Experience
• Schedule Flexibility.
• Successful track record of teaching or training
• Evidence of successful organization and administration
• Availability to work in Heredia, Hatillo and Moravia.
