• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in various back office operations (i.e., accounts payables, general accounting, fixed assets, procurement, etc.)
• Experience supporting SSC and/or BPO migrations for multi-national companies.
• Knowledge of and experience in US and Foreign (Latin American) requirements, with experience with US or Latin American-based Telecommunications, Consumer Products, Wholesale or Retail Distribution businesses a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express oneself in a logical and concise manner are essential.
• Fluency in English, Excellent oral and written communication skills and Spanish is required (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, Finance & Accounting, Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Professional Services experience a plus
• Oracle or SAP experience, or other Tier 1 ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals will be crucial to success
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Self-starter who can work with projects from start to finish. Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently. Demonstrates initiative to follow up on pending issues and organize assigned work. Disciplined approach to business.
• US Tourist Valid Visa for travel to US and other multiple locations throughout Latin America as required (cross training, operations and/or project work)- up to 50% travel may be required
• Business Process Analysis and Design
o Provide subject matter expertise across Finance, Accounting & Shared Services/BPO areas
o Process Documentation and BPO Operating Model Design
? Perform process walkthroughs to gain a detailed understanding of the current business processes, job functions, information needs, business systems requirements and relevant operating statistics (e.g. transaction volumes), document current processes and design the future state operating framework under a BPO model.
o Opportunities for Efficiency and Performance Improvement
? Identify and document opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement within the BPO organization. These opportunities may include “quick wins”, which are defined as low cost/low risk opportunities that can be implemented quickly and without major investment from the business; and longer term improvement opportunities, such as performance improvements that can be achieved through the use of automation, process redesign, organizational redesign, synergies, etc.
o Plan Transition and Cut-Over to BPO
? Support the development of the operational cut-over strategy, communication strategy and plan, BPO training plan and training materials, risk management plan, etc.
o Participate in training programs to migrate operational activities to BPO staff.
o Providing ongoing support to in-scope BPO operations during cutover, “soft go-live” and hyper-care stages, on through full production.
