Encore Capital group is seeking a HR Business Partner / Senior Recruiter with preferably financial industry experience to work closely with employees and management within designated client groups. The HRBP serves as an advisor to management on Human Resource related issues.
The ideal candidate should be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast-paced environment, with 5+ years of combined experience in a recruiting and HR environment. The successful candidate must have the ability to partner with hiring managers to build and maintain relationships.
Human Resources Experience & Responsibilities:
• 3-6 years’ experience in a progressive HR role
• Proficiency with federal and state labor law, employee relations, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and safety
• 3-6 years in an HR Business Partner role in an environment requiring significant change management consulting
• Knowledge of compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development and organizational development and change management strategies and best practices. Project management experience
• The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy regarding assigned client groups.
• Lead the education, communication and support of HR initiatives by partnering with business leaders in assigned client groups to drive performance management, change management, employee development, and adherence to company policies and procedures and HR administration (NHO, benefits, compensation, employee relations, etc.).
• Manage resolution of employee relations investigations to ensure fair, consistent and proper resolution in consideration of company policy, procedures and values.
• Partner with centers of excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning and development,) to provide solutions to client groups on tactical day-to-day initiatives. Support HR initiatives such as open enrollment and wellness activities.

• 3 year of corporate recruiting experience
• Prior experience recruiting high volume call center professionals highly preferred
• Ability to consult with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job specifications.
• Experience positing positions (on various job boards), sourcing, evaluating candidates phone screening, schedule interviews both phone and in-person, with experience recommending, negotiating and presenting offers
• Develop, maintain and update a network of contacts to help identify a qualified and diverse candidate pool.
• Track candidate activity and provide recruiting status reports.
• Collections & Financial industry experience preferred
• Previous experience utilizing an ATS / HRIS System preferably Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Oracle or PeopleSoft
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual: English / Spanish
• Organized, detail oriented, ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to mentor junior recruiting staff
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
