At Ecolab we are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full lifecycle recruitment duties, to consult with hiring managers, build and execute on talent stream strategies and partner with our businesses to bring high performing associates. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will recruit positions for a geographic market we call Latin America Central, which includes all Central American countries, Venezuela & the Caribbean.
The position will be based in our Alajuela, Costa Rica and will be hired in our Payroll on a 12 month contract with possibility of conversion to a permanent employee.
Main Responsibilities:
•Manage candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle (screening, interviewing, offers)
•Design and execute passive and active sourcing strategies that drive sufficient volume of quality candidates for each position, including techniques such as online database, employee referrals, college recruitment, internal databases, associate networks, etc.;
•Identify target industries, companies, user groups, professional associations or educational institutions to proactively create pools of qualified candidates
•Create and execute queries and searches for qualified candidates;
•Screen talent pools to confirm basic qualifications, skill set, interest, job fit, salary requirements, career pipeline and work authorization
•Lead phone & face to face interviews;
•Work from the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring that all candidate data is continuously updated;
•Work with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a clear understanding of job requirements and compliance with quality standards
•Ensure that all candidates and hiring managers are treated in a professional manner, and that all business is conducted while demonstrating integrity and fairness
•Work within the defined recruitment workflow and ensure a clear understanding and compliance with service levels (time & quality standards)
Minimum Qualifications:
•Student or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or similar;
•3+ year of progressive recruitment experience working on entry-level to professional-level positions;
•Skills/experience in active sourcing, assessing, closing, and managing candidates
•Fluent in English (Advanced or Bilingual level)
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationship
•PC skills including in-depth Internet and database knowledge and working proficiency in Microsoft Office;
•Availability to work in Alajuela area, Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 5pm.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience recruiting for technical/engineering roles
•Experience in regional roles that demanded recruiting virtually for other countries
•Kenexa BrassRing /Workday/Taleo Applicant Tracking System experience;
•Creative thinking and problem solving skills
•Excellent time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment.
