Objective
Responsible for planning and directing a Communications Strategy that promotes a positive work environment and the strong positioning of the SYKES Brand in order to achieve high employee satisfaction and retention. Responsible for the successful execution of all communications events.
Responsibilities
1. Design and supervise the implementation of the internal/external communication strategy of the organization while complying with budget
2. Develop and execute a Public Relations strategy to position SYKES as an employer of choice and support sourcing by attracting the best talent
3. Measure the effectiveness of the internal/external communications activities (campaigns, advertising, events, forums, roundtables, others)
4. Provide strategic guidance for Social Media and digital campaign efforts to maximize results (sourcing, hiring, employee satisfaction, other)
5. Evaluate and make recommendations to improve communication tools (bulletin boards, plasma screens, others) measuring their effectiveness
6. Identify new communication needs and opportunities throughout the organization to develop specific solutions
7. Planning, coordination, and execution of the site’s events and special celebrations that are related to SYKES.
8. To administrate the Communications Request Tool assigning the different tickets to the respective Executive Marketing and Communication members.
9. Supervise and review all the functions created and managed by the Communications department.
Academic Background
University degree in Communications fields of study
Spanish: Excellent to Native
English: Very good to excellent, Portuguese is a plus
Experience
5 years of relevant experience in internal and external communications within a global / Multinational organization – Preferably in the same industry.
Project managing experience.
Leadership skills.
Strong public and media relations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
