Our IT Desktop Support's primary role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests and application support. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Candidate may be required to interact with other members of the IT Team to diagnose and resolve unique problems. At times, the candidate may be asked to assist in the maintenance and testing of network, servers and/or associated equipment.
1) Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or related field required, advanced University student or equivalent Technology Certification; 2) 1-2 years in similar roles, customer service and technical support 3) 1-2 years Knowledge installing, configuring, and supporting Windows operating system; 4) 1-2 Knowledge building and configuring desktop and laptops within an enterprise network (Windows environment); 5) 1-2 Knowledge configuring & troubleshooting L2/L3 network devices switches, wireless access points and controllers; 6) 1-2 years in similar roles, customer service and technical support; 7) Intermediate-Advanced English communication skills
