Accounting analyst

MAIN PURPOSE. Responsible for the implementation of corporate controls SOX in Colombia. Support to Controller in daily activities. Support and participation in financial projects.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Support in the design and implementation of SOX controls.
• Support and perform monthly monitoring of the Checklist of closing activities for Vestolit companies.
• Analytical evaluation of variations in balance sheets and review with those responsible.
• Support and control of changes in the masters of clients and suppliers of the company as well as in the evaluation of alternatives to improve NWC.
• Support to controller in reviewing manual records and support in the implementation of good practices that help reduce the number of such records.
• Support in the generation of monthly financial information.
• Support in the required financial planning activities.
• Attention to internal and external requirements.
EDUCATION
Professional in Public Accounting. Desirable with a master's degree or specialization in finance, project evaluation or planning
QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Knowledge of international standards.
• Analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge in account reconciliation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing business environment including working under pressure.
• Excellent management of SAP, Excel, Power Bi, Power Point, Word.
• Excellent time management ability.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum experience of 5 years in large manufacturing companies.
