It security architect

Maintain IT platform security throughout the IberoLATAM Region. Working with subsidiaries in implementing, managing and verifying IT Platform Security Controls. increase our security posture, to measure and reduce our risk, while maintaining highly available IT platforms and meeting compliance requirements developing and managing platform security controls and systems, including vulnerability and threat management programs in a compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage platform-related vulnerabilities
• Identify threats & risks, recommend risk mitigation plans and communicate information about any residual risk.
• Lead the engineering effort to identify, evaluate & implement technical controls as required for security and compliance needs.
• Ensuring the cloud security posture through standards and guidelines.
• Maintain log management solutions to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
• Respond to escalated security incidents and come up with short and long-term technical plan to remediate the risk due to an incident or threat.
• Provide expertise and advice on the prioritization and remediation of identified security issues in conjunction with business processes.
• Ability to recognize and escalate Security issues.
Requirements:
• Required: Electronic Engineer, Telecommunications, Systems or related fields
• Required: Standards and Regulations in PCI, GDPR, ISO27000, COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO20000.
• Desirable Knowledge in: Data networks, technological platforms, cybersecurity technological platforms (firewalls, EDR, IPS/IDS, PAM, WAF).
• Required: Intermediate knowledge in cloud security architecture (Azure)
• Required: 3 or more years of professional experience in cybersecurity with a focus on platforms and cloud.
• Required: 5+ years network engineering experience in a large, highly available network environment including 3+ years overall IT Security experience and vulnerability
• Desirable: Experience in Cisco CCNP Security qualified or similar qualification
• Certifications CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, CCNA, Azure Security
• Required: English B2/C1
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure components including security appliances, Firewalls, Networking devices, Windows/Linux servers, and Cloud technology, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
