Monitoring & evaluation specialist

A company of innovative management solutions in the fields of security assistance and global development around the world, is looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist.

The Colombia M&E Specialist, shall work with the M&E Coordinators, WHP, Posts, implementers, and all other relevant partners to determine the most effective and efficient data collection methodology for selected indicators and shall be in charge of collecting all data that originates from entities within Colombia. Data collection efforts may include (but are not limited to): submitting data requests to host governments, partnering with NGOs or other government partners, researching open source data, working with private entities, or designing and implementing surveys, interviews, or producing statistical outputs for analysis and reporting.

S/he shall draft variable definition forms (VDFs), performance measure definition forms (PMDFs), and data collection templates (DCTs) for selected indicators and work with his/her D.C.-based counterparts, implementers, and Post in order to determine how the data will be collected, displayed, and reported. This individual shall support the collection of performance measure data in Colombia in compliance with the INL/WHP reporting cycle.

Qualifications/ Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree or two (2) years of post-graduate education. At least three (3) years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, strategic planning, foreign assistance, and/or performance management. At least two (2) years of experience with data collection and management. C1 english level. High level of knowledge of Colombian laws, customs, current events, and governmental institutions. Ability to travel.
Preferred Requirements: Knowledge or experience with international narcotics and law enforcement-related programs.

Job location: Bogotá. Wage: $7'500.000 COP. Type of contract: indefinite.
