LONZA, a global organization opening operations in Costa Rica, is looking for an AR Collection Analyst. LONZA is focused on achieving the strategic vision of being the world's leading, integrated solutions provider for its pharma and consumer healthcare and nutrition customers all along the healthcare continuum.
The company serves that continuum and certain other targeted markets through a wide range of businesses in its Pharma & Biotech and Specialty Ingredients segments.

Role Purpose: the collections clerk position is accountable for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, using postal services, telephone or via email, showing professionalism and respect to any customer.
Key Accountabilities and Duties:
Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment to obtain PTP.
Develop effective working relationships with both internal departments and customers.
Investigate and initiate queries with customers in a timely manner.
Able to jointly interact with the commercial area in order to achieve organizational targets.
Responds to telephone or email inquiries and assists in solving questions related to the status of customer´s account.
Escalate accounts to the appropriate party and recommend accounts to be sent to a third party collection agency.

Requisitos para aplicar

Education: Technical or Bachelor education or equivalent in business, accounting or any related field/ Fluent English.
Preferred area of study: Business Administration or Accounting.
Experience: Ideally within SSC and/or migration processes, customer service oriented.
Knowledge: SAP experience is a MUST and excellent Excel skills (including vlookups and pivot tables)
Skills: Tactful, confident telephone manner, customer centric mindset.
Qualities and Attitude: Adaptable and solid team player. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail, meet deadlines. Ensure confidentiality and privacy of information is maintained, work in a mature, courteous and professional manner, proven ability to work under pressure.
