The Technology Operations Center (TOC) Service Desk Operator will be part of a global team providing 24X7 frontline support acting as an access point for our external customers to report any issues or problems they may experience with the applications and services provided by Equifax. They will man our phone lines and monitor the service desk email inbox to allow for quick response to any issues reported. In addition they will have access to and be trained on our Event Management/ Monitoring tools to allow them to remain fully engaged in all current incidents and alerting in order to correlate reported issues and provide customers with up to the minute information. The primary goal of the TOC is to identify possible incidents and mitigate the problem prior to customers being impacted. For the occasion when customers are impacted the goal is to mitigate these impacts as soon as possible through corresponding actions taken by the Operator/ Analysts or the escalation to Technical Duty Officers and support teams who can provide that action. This critical role provides the front line defense against incidents and degradation within our environment. This position will work very closely with the Event Management team (TOC Operator/ Analysts) and Technical Duty Officers as a seamless single team providing world-class IT support to our customers and business partners.
