Descripción Now Hiring: Endpoint Support Specialist | Enterprise IT & Security Are you passionate about endpoint security, automation, and driving operational excellence? We’re looking for an Endpoint Support Specialist to take ownership of our enterprise workstation fleet, ensuring high security compliance, optimized patch management, and proactive endpoint health. Location: Bogota Schedule: Monday to Friday Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary The Endpoint Support Specialist will serve as the administrator for ManageEngine Endpoint Central, leading enterprise-wide patch compliance and Windows lifecycle management. This role bridges the gap between security mandates (Qualys/SOC) and hands-on technical execution, targeting a 95% patch compliance rate while ensuring long-term endpoint stability and automation-driven efficiency. Key Responsibilities Automated Patch Management Remediate Microsoft Security Update failures using ManageEngine Endpoint Central. Achieve and maintain fleet-wide patch compliance. Engineer “set-and-forget” automation policies targeting update failure rate over 60-day cycles. Security & Asset Tool Governance Monitor and maintain agent health for vulnerability and asset tools (e.g., Qualys, Snow). Leverage inventory and software distribution modules to enforce compliance. Infrastructure & Policy Alignment Partner with Data Center Operations to audit and refine Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Ensure accurate Business Unit (BU) alignment through Endpoint Central configuration modules. Proactive Endpoint Health & Remediation Deploy custom scripts and system tools to monitor hardware health. Prevent patch failures caused by storage or configuration constraints. Address vulnerabilities identified by security scanning tools. SOC Integration & Incident Response Act as the primary technical contact for SOC alerts. Triage endpoint-related incidents. Route tickets with detailed remediation guidance to field technicians. Windows Lifecycle Management Deploy Windows Feature Packs and Service Packs. Maintain fleet alignment within supported Windows lifecycles (Pro & Enterprise). Vulnerability Surface Reduction Conduct High-Risk Software audits and remove obsolete applications. Develop formal IT Risk Assessment Reports (RAR) for restricted or instrument-only systems. Basic Minimum Qualifications Technical Proficiency 2+ years managing enterprise environments using ManageEngine Endpoint Central or similar UEM solutions. Hands-on experience with automated patch management and compliance reporting. Data Analysis & Reporting Advanced report creation and scheduling within Endpoint Central. Ability to export and analyze raw data in Microsoft Excel for trend analysis. Operating Systems & Lifecycle Expertise Advanced Windows administration knowledge. Experience deploying Service Packs and Feature Updates via UEM tools. Strong understanding of Windows Pro & Enterprise support lifecycles. Infrastructure & Security Working knowledge of Active Directory and GPO management. Experience supporting security agents (Qualys, Snow, or similar tools). Communication & Triage Ability to interpret SOC alerts. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable remediation steps.
