Descripción Location: Colombia (Remote) Contract Length: 6 months Commitment: Full-time Start Date: Immediate availability preferred We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud SDET to support MSPG cloud services. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving test tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that ensure the highest quality standards across our cloud products. As a Cloud SDET, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and UI teams, driving quality through automation, data generation, and comprehensive test coverage. You will initially focus on FC Tiers MI Cloud SDET responsibilities, and subsequently (or in parallel) contribute to Pigeon test coverage expansion, data generation, and framework migration initiatives. Quality is a core value for our organization, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure cloud services. **Key Responsibilities - FC Tiers MI – Cloud SDET Support - Participate in discovery sessions and co-develop the MI Test Plan with engineering teams. - Define and implement data generation strategies required for MI testing. - Design and implement Cloud Stack and Pigeon tests for the MI. - Drive incremental manual QA for completed features. - Facilitate and support team testing sessions to maintain high-quality releases. - Pigeon Test Coverage Expansion - Identify testing gaps across MSPG cloud services and APIs. - Expand Pigeon test coverage from the current baseline toward 75% of testable services. - Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios covering APIs and core code paths. - Apply advanced testing patterns to simulate real-world usage and scale. - Create and maintain documentation, monitoring, and alerting for Pigeon tests. - Data Generation for UI Playwright Tests - Collaborate with UI engineers to define test configurations and data requirements. - Implement Pigeon-based data generation to support UI Playwright testing and customer demos. - Develop data generators for multi-tenant cloud environments. - Simulate real-world scale scenarios through advanced testing patterns. - Produce documentation and monitoring for all implemented solutions. - Pigeon Test V2 Migration - Migrate existing MSPG Pigeon tests to Pigeon V2 following established guidelines. - Ensure test stability, scalability, and maintainability post-migration. **Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role. - 5+ years of experience in test automation and data generation. - 3+ years working with testing frameworks in cloud environments. - Strong proficiency in Go, including hands-on experience with Go testing frameworks. - Solid experience with synthetic data generation, schema validation, and data modeling. - Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). - Proven ability to work independently as a contractor. - Previous experience with cybersecurity platforms is a strong plus. **Contract Details - Work Model: Remote (US-compatible time zones only) - Equipment: Contractor is responsible for setting up their own development environment - Access Requirements: Stable internet connection and VPN access **Why Join Us - Work on high-impact cloud and cybersecurity platforms. - Collaborate with senior engineers in a highly technical environment. - Drive quality at scale using modern cloud-native testing frameworks. - Gain exposure to advanced test infrastructure, data generation, and large-scale systems.
