Bilingual payroll specialist

Descripción We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Specialist to manage and process accurate and timely payroll for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of payroll regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Process weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll for employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. - Generate, prepare, calculate, and analyze payroll payment processes. - Ensure compliance with current labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies to guarantee the timely payment of salaries, aiming for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. - Create and submit reports and presentations to various government entities, adhering to established deadlines. - Review and validate timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. - Maintain and update employee payroll information in HRIS/payroll systems. - Prepare payroll reports and support audits when required. - Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in both English and Spanish. - Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies or issues related to compensation and deductions. - Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data at all times. REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). - Bilingual English–Spanish (advanced proficiency required). - Minimum 2 years of payroll processing experience. - Advanced Excel proficiency. - Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance standards. - Experience with HRIS or payroll software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, SAP, or similar). - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Experience with designer (desirable) BENEFITS - Salary: COP 3’900 000.00 - Legal Benefits included - Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Work Model - Flexible working culture - Opportunities for professional growth and development. - Collaborative and supportive work environment.
