Descripción About the Team Finance Tech is a strategic enabler within Walmart’s technology ecosystem, focused on delivering scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support financial operations across the region. Our team partners closely with business stakeholders to drive automation, improve decision-making, and ensure compliance, while continuously evolving our platforms to meet the dynamic needs of the business. About the role: As an Application Developer focused on the Java tech stack, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, scalable applications that power Walmart’s digital transformation. What You'll Do: • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications in a fast-paced environment. • Work closely with architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring high performance and reliability. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. What You'll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in Java application development (Java 8+). • Experience with Spring Framework. • Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, JSON schema design • Hands on experience with TypeScript (React, NextJs, Angular) • Relational databases, SQL experience: schema design, queries, and performance optimization. (e.g., SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, K8s), version control (Git), and Agile methodologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience with Cloud-native architectures (Azure, GCP, or AWS). • Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices. • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
