About the role:
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects within Walmart’s application development teams. This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
What You'll Do:
• Lead and manage multiple technology projects from initiation through delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Track project progress, provide regular status updates, and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to Walmart’s project management standards.
What You'll Bring:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience managing technology projects, preferably in large enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding and experience managing finance and accounting projects, preferably in large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading a PMO (Project Management Office)
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in continuous improvement (CI) teams.
• Strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, innovation, analytics, strategic vision, customer focus, and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
• English B2/C1
