This person will participate in a global team that provides daily management of a client’s environment through expert level troubleshooting, problem solving and change management for their IT Infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This role requires individuals to combine a customer service approach to restore client services with an innovative solutions approach to reduce or eliminate unplanned service outages following operational policies and processes that are compliant with industry standards – ITIL.
Applies basic foundation of a function’s principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience.
Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.

• Position requires participation in shift rotations covering Asia and partial EMEA business hours Coverage hours are between 6AM – 6PM local time.
• Basic to Intermediate level in Windows/Linux/Unix OS
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge in one or more Database Administration technologies and components. (ORACLE, MS SQL Server, DB2)
• 0-2 years of relevant experience or 2+ years of relevant experience with 2 year post-high school degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (or at least 2 years completed of the career)
• Strong collaboration skills are required.
• Candidate must demonstrate effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Availability for on-call after working hours is required on a rotation basis. High level of initiative and ownership.
