Due to expansion of operations, Confluent Medical Technologies-NDC Costa Rica, a lead sub-contractor of medical devices and components, is looking for a Quality Engineer. Person in this position:
- Fosters a Quality Culture improvement. Provides quality training and awareness.
- Generates and approves Engineering change orders to meet revised specifications.
- Experience with transfers
- Provides and develops solutions to manufacturing problems and manages NCR situations to provide product disposition.
- Works with R&D and transfer engineers in the design and development of new projects, FMEAs, Quality Plans, transfer of existing processes, validation protocols.
- Leads monitoring and measurement of processes, including MSA, SPC, Capability Analysis and Sampling Plans.
- Leads CAPAs/SCAR and Customer Complaint resolution
- Other related duties.
Must have:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Production Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance position in a Medical Device Industry.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (above 85%).
- At Least 2 years of experience in Medical Industry
Nice to have:
- Certified Quality Engineer.
- Certified Six Sigma Green, Yellow or Black Belt.
- Experience with EO and/or E beam sterilization processes would be a plus.
- Lead auditor or internal auditor certification in ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.
- Quality Systems Requirements and Industry Practice
- Availability to Travel up to 25% per year
- Valid US VISA
- Knowledge in Statistics and Minitab
