Accounts payable process owner

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Process Owner to act as the link between the LATAM markets and our operational teams, driving operational excellence and enhanced customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Process Leadership & Optimization
• Lead and monitor AP processes using KPIs to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Design and implement process enhancements, including automation initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across AP operations
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to align process goals
• Ensure clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and expectations
Project & Change Management
• Manage AP-related projects, including digitalization and transformation initiatives
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for proposed improvements
Technical & Analytical Expertise
• Analyze complex data to identify trends and actionable insights
• Recommend and implement technology solutions to optimize AP processes

Qualifications

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related fields
• 5+ years in AP operations within financial service centers (WM AP experience is a plus)
• 5+ years in project management, automation, or business transformation

Skills
• Advanced English (C1)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BPM tools, and data analysis platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
• CPA certification
• Green Belt, PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Practitioner certifications
• Experience in retail or e-commerce industries
