Accounts receivable cash aplication manager

The Cash Application Manager will be responsible for all accounts receivable Cash Application functions within a Shared Service Center Environment. This includes responsibility for Customer Payments, account adjustments, accounts receivable reconciliations follow up, investigating and processing unapplied cash and system trouble shooting. This position will also be responsible for month-end reporting, cross-training AR Specialists and Reconciliation Specialists, liaison for audit request and special projects as assigned. The manager will also be responsible for partnering with Credit and Collections, Customer Advocacy, Sales, Marketing and IT. This role will also be responsible for leading the continued transition of regionalized AR departments to a centralized shared services function. This will require hiring and expanding the team in support of these efforts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• BA in accounting or similar coursework preferred.
• Seven to ten years accounting experience in accounts receivable required.
• Experience in a Shared Services department or support of various regions preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Computer literate using Excel and MS Word required.
• Experience with SAP or other large ERP system preferred.
• Good analytical and organizational skills required.
• Strong dedication to customer responsiveness and ability to work within a team environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Advanced knowledge of the English language (written and verbal communication skills required).

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Proficiency in basic math required
