Position Description
The Equifax Shared Services organization is looking for an experienced professional to lead the shared service Accounts Receivable (Cash Applications, Cash Accounting and AR Accounting) program in support of US/CAN/UK business and lead day-to-day activities and manage all operational aspects including cost, staffing and process improvements. Oversee activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of all tasks, as well as adherence to company policies. Builds and maintains relations with internal customers, program owners, vendors and team members. The right person will be responsible to develop and track monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) and document and update standard operating procedures and processes. Assists with project work and analysis as required. Plans, directs and monitors operational/tactical activities of staff and works in conjunction with program owners to deliver and improve services levels with best quality standards.

Key Job Responsibilities
• Transition of AR functions into the SSC in Costa Rica.
• Acquisition and development of talent to perform AR functions.
• Lead team to successfully perform accounting and general ledger activities as well as perform daily cash postings to ensure prompt and accurate recording of payments to customer accounts for Equifax companies and ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and Equifax policy.
• Organize and prioritize the Accounts Receivable team workload
• Track and report SLA/KPI’s of AP shared services team performance and lead process improvements
• Work with functional managers to resolve issues and improve processes
• Run reports and save to specific locations for research and audit requirements. These may include lockbox reports, reconciliations, logs, etc.
• Provide Cash Application, Cash & A/R accounting metrics to Management on a monthly basis
• Perform and assist with AR research requests
• Reconcile lockbox and other activity to bank accounts

Qualifications
• 3+ year management experience in cash applications or accounts receivable. Experience managing people.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, best practices, and systems.
• Work schedule availability and flexibility, to meet department requirements
• Oracle financial systems and lean techniques experience is a plus
• Solid skills in Excel and related MS tools.
• Must be detail oriented – attention to detail is critical. Ability to meet deadlines – daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.
• Familiar with multiple currencies, foreign exchange currencies and different tax codes.
• Ability to train and develop Accounts Receivable team members.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment and to effectively create partnerships with senior staff.
• Ability to communicate and work with all levels of internal management and external providers
Education and Experience
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Required Job Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fully bilingual English-Spanish
• Work as a team player. Ability to lead, manage and develop talent.
• Work effectively and cooperatively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and/or management
• Handle fast-paced and challenging job demands
