Agricultural multinational company, is hiring Agricultural Engineer. ROLE: Coordination of plantations expansions with Costa Rican farmers and cooperatives in all CR Regions and potential regions. Selection made on the most suitable criteria. Agricultural training on best agricultural practices for farmers and workers. Coordination of harvesting programs and quality requirements with contract farmers and cooperatives. Enforce safety, documentation, and compliance standards. Devote time, skills, knowledge and experience, to efficiency, productivity, growth, sustainability. Support in preparation of general productions forecasts,budgets, and business case proposals on operations and plantation expansions. Support in coordination of Rainforest Alliance certification program in C.R. Other responsiblities: Manage Warehouse operations (Guápiles/ Zona Sur), coordinate agricultural support (planting material and machines), ensures consistent high quality level of agro-product. Forecast accuracy. Must travel frequently though the country (mainly Guápiles, north and south of the country).

Requisitos para aplicar

Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or Electromechanical Engieering. Fluent in Spanish and English. Drivers licence. Previous experience in agricultural companies, and managing relations with landowners and farmers. Min. experience 3 years in agricultural projects- this is a must. Field work experience. Good team work abilities, good communicator, results oriented, skills on managing teams, structure and organize with strong IT capabilities.
