The BPO plays a fundamental role in the execution of the Finance Transformation Agenda in the Americas region, with exposure to finance processes and Order to Cash processes (Financial Accounting, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Pricing, Rating and Billing) covering the main aspects of the decentralized operation of the finance function and the Shared Services, namely People, Systems, Processes and Organization.
Key Responsibilities
Process:
• Manage and drive the assigned projects and initiatives within time & budget achieving target scenarios and end products as specified in each Project Business Case and/or Project Initiation Documents
• Manage and drive the assigned projects under observance of Project Management standards (ie. PRINCE, PMI, etc.)
• Display specific industry knowledge and experience in the area of Finance and Accounting Services (Financial Accounting, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and Billing)
• Communicate to the SSC Sr. Mgmt Team, Finance Operations Service Line Managers, CFOs and employees on what concerns the own delivery of projects and initiatives
• Partner with the SSC and DHL Express Finance Sr. Management Team, employees and other functions, facilitating the delivery of the BPO Projects and Initiatives
• Act as internal consultant to DHL Express in Processes, Systems and Operation of Accounts Receivable (Collections & Query Handling) processes
• High conversion rate of strategies, concepts, standards and initiatives into tangible operational results
• Architect
• Display role modeling in terms of active leadership and employee engagement
• Master DHL and Industry Project Management and Quality Standards
• Provide and secure sustainable solutions generating benefits beyond pure and simple business case definitions; this includes verifying with Sr. Users, stakeholders and internal customers the sustainability of the delivery
• Creative and innovative solution design
Skills and Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering
-Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE or equivalent)
-Desirable Accounting Degree or-MBA
-Six Sigma Certification, Black Belt Level / First Choice Senior Advisor
-At least 5 years of experience in Financial Shared Services industry with emphasis in
-Proven experience in Commercial Processes (Customer Onboarding, Pricing and Rating)
-Experience in DHL Express landscape of systems and operations
-Microsoft Excel
-Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
-Spanish language written and spoken
-English language written and spoken
-SAP (FI/CO, FSCM) or equivalent Credit / Collections modules
