The person hired for the position of Dental Setup Technician will be a member of the 3M Oral Care Solutions Division digital manufacturing technology team.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to exceed expectations and produce high quality case setups within the digital workflow. Specifically, the Dental Setup Technician will process 3D digital files and utilize clinical knowledge to perform digital treatment setups for orthodontic and dental appliances.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Responsible for daily digital scan data processing and orthodontic digital set-ups for treatment with removable and/or fixed appliances.

· Providing daily support for Customer Service, Clinical Technical support teams and digital modification requests with dental professionals.

· Communication with the customer (dentists, orthodontists) may be required.

· Performing miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.

· May be required to assist in training of co-workers on an as needed basis.

· Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· Associates/Two Year Technical degree or higher from an accredited institution

· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite

· English level around 80-85%

Preferred Qualifications:

· Dental knowledge with experience in a dental / orthodontic lab or office with hands-on experience and knowledge of tooth anatomy, function and occlusion

· Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or advanced training in dental lab technology

· Experience with dental CADCAM software and/or graphic design software

· Experience in a medical device environment
