Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Application & Remittance Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will review customer remittance advice, validate payment instructions, investigate payment discrepancies, and ensure accurate cash application to customer accounts, serving as a key liaison between Customers, Collections, and Cash Applications.

Key Responsibilities
Remittance Validation & Cash Application: Monitor shared remittance inboxes, review payment instructions, and submit clear application details to the cash posting team to ensure accurate account allocation.

Discrepancy Investigation: Analyze customer accounts to identify and categorize short payments, overpayments, duplicate payments, and unapplied cash, taking appropriate action to resolve differences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Collections, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve payment issues, reduce unapplied cash balances, and improve recurring processes.

Reporting & Internal Controls: Support month-end reconciliations, track unresolved items, and ensure compliance with internal controls and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: 2+ years in Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Applications, Credit & Collections, or Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Core Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical reconciliation skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication.
