Collections specialist (3 months contract)

Location: Ultrapark, Escazú, Costa Rica

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: 850.000 CRC Colones

Model: Hybrid (2 days on-site / 3 days remote) – Flexibility to work on-site more days if required. Contract Type: 3-month temporary contract (with potential for extension)

About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Collections Specialist to support our client portfolio. This is not a passive administrative role; we need someone who is proactive, persistent, and comfortable maintaining a high volume of outbound calls to ensure timely payments and account reconciliation.

Main Responsibilities:
Perform daily high-intensity outbound calls to business clients to secure payments on overdue accounts.

Negotiate and follow up on payment commitments effectively.

Identify and resolve customer disputes or discrepancies that may delay payment.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all collection activities.

Requirements:
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable (B2B preferred).

Language: Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher). Must be able to maintain fluid and professional conversations with international clients.

Education: High School Diploma (Bachillerato en Educación Media).

Tech Skills: Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable.

Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, proactive mindset, and a high level of persistence. We are looking for candidates who are "call-intensive" and results-oriented.
