We are the E2E Data and Analytics team of Walmart USA, based in Costa Rica. We design advanced analytical solutions to resolve strategic problems across diverse supply chain functions and advise on how to improve and optimize our omnichannel operations. In 2020, Walmart ranked 1st in Forbes list of largest retail companies in the United States, reaching over $500 billion in sales and 1.5 million associates.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of project or portfolio management involving data, processes, and/or innovation OR a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, or MBA.
• Fluent in English (B2+ to C1). Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills. You need to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
• Proficiency with any of the following tools:
Database Tools: MSSQL Server, Oracle DB, DB2, Teradata
Data Governance: Collibra or equivalent
Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, or similar
• Cloud Technologies Knowledge.
• Database management using tools like Big Query, Presto, Hadoop, MSSQL Server or Oracle
• Availability to travel to Home Office (USA) if required

Responsibilities:

· Build Bridges: Collaborate with cross-functional customers to understand their data requirements and partner with engineering teams to deliver solutions.

· Lead with Influence: Cultivate strong relationships with technical experts and business leaders in a dynamic, global organization.

· Own Data Governance: Execute key data governance tasks, including managing data lineage, monitoring and implementing quality rules, establishing a governance process for the most critical data elements, and ensuring a single version of the truth across the enterprise for those.
