Position in Heredia AFZ- Hybrid model

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and iterate product concepts using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies, leveraging parametric 3D CAD software and related methods/tools.
Perform mechanical design and redesign of medical device components, applying relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME Y14.5-2018 / GD&T) to create accurate detail drawings.
Create, modify, and maintain CAD models and engineering documentation within a data management (PDM/PLM) environment, ensuring proper version control and traceability.

Requirements:
Education:
Technical degree in CAD Design, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or similar. Other technical/engineering degrees with relevant experience will be considered.

Experience:
2+ years of related experience in CAD modeling and documentation (including concept development and engineering drawing creation).

Skills:
High proficiency in SolidWorks (CSWP certification is a plus). Candidates with strong proficiency in other 3D CAD platforms (e.g.AutoDesk Inventor) may also be considered.
Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and basic tolerance stack-up concepts.
Internal customer-focused, detailed-oriented person, proactive, innovative, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience or knowledge in the design of molded components is a plus.

English level:
English Proficiency (B1 or higher) is required.
