Key Responsibilities

Disbursement Process Related
• Support project managers in coordinating and processing loan disbursements, capital calls, and guarantees.
• Review contracts and correspondence related to transactions and monitor compliance status.
• Prepare, clean, and validate operational datasets to support disbursement analytics and reporting.
• Process disbursements and guarantee issuances in institutional systems.
• Perform pro-rata, fee, and reconciliation calculations using analytical tools.
• Ensure timely follow-up and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Process Analysis, Reporting & Automation
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to monitor operational KPIs, processing times, and compliance indicators.
• Document current-state (“as-is”) workflows, identifying manual steps, dependencies, bottlenecks, error-prone activities, and control gaps.
• Apply advanced Excel skills to support operational reporting, reconciliations, and data validation.
• Query and analyze large datasets using SQL or SQL-like languages.
• Use Python to automate repetitive tasks such as data cleaning, validations, reconciliations, and report preparation. Partner with operations, IT, and automation teams to translate analytical designs into scalable solutions.

Required Competencies and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar analytical roles within financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and exploratory analytics (pandas, NumPy, basic visualization).
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data in cloud-based analytical platforms (such as Databricks or similar), with a focus on accessing, querying, transforming, and analyzing data rather than building or maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience querying large datasets using SQL or SQL-like languages.
• Strong experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) for dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization.
• Advanced Excel skills for analytical and operational reporting.
• Intermediate English and fluent Spanish (written and oral).
• Understanding data quality, reconciliation, controls, and auditability in financial environments.
