McKinsey Solutions is a new group within McKinsey that leverages 85 years of McKinsey industry and functional expertise with data, proprietary analytics, and software tools. The group offers a new suite of services with the goal of helping organizations gain greater clarity in decision-making, and achieve significant long-term performance improvement. The solutions are complementary to McKinsey’s management consulting services and offer a variety of support models to ensure clients get exactly what they need. The team works closely with client organizations to embed the tools and build their capabilities to sustain impact over time.

Key Responsibilities & Activities
The Senior Solution Analyst is a pivotal role. This role is at the core of helping Solutions to effectively leverage the team. The Senior Solution Analyst is a hands-on person and contributes to solving client business challenges with the capabilities of our Solutions.

As a Senior Solution Analyst you:

Will work with client representatives and McKinsey consultants in joint problem solving sessions.
Will drive the process of converting/enriching raw client data sources into the high added value datamart required for Solutions to deliver the insights related to the business challenges at stake.
Accompany clients in their use of the Solutions to drive sustainable and high impact. This involves engaging with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss about how to drive user adoption (leveraging our usage analytics framework), help them with questions they might have regarding the Solution usage or applicability, etc.
Plan and execute the rollout of applications beyond engagements

At least 6 years of experience in the field of IT, consulting and/or analytics and big data
A Master’s degree in Business or in Engineering, or MBA is considered a plus
Are sound problem-solvers who can quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
Consistently deliver exceptional results and great ideas
Are curious, willing to push themselves and want to learn
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated people leadership skills
Experience of construction management/ industry will be considered a plus
