The candidate that fills this position is our contact in Comex for Planning and other Divisions. Responsible for the management of daily Comex operations, that is able to deliver committed lead time and cost targets. This individual leads the loss analysis process for their respective countries – lead time and cost in conjunction with Plants, 3PL, and logistics to ensure processes and results are delivered under basic reliability.

Payment to suppliers
Ensure Payment of Suppliers on time – Supplier account balance at 0.Independence Level/Reports to Low supervisory support from Manager. Communicates directly with other functions, local sales force & management. Coordinates with Customers
Issue lead time forms for new initiatives or new supply lines.
Control the reliability of suppliers through tool measurement.
Control that all prior data be ready in System (JDE & SAP) once an Export has been decided by Divisions (Route, Affiliate, Ship To, Profit Center, prices, etc, and their respective links)
Ensure affiliate invoices are paid within terms – 85% balance within 30 days.
Ensure direct debit account (Duties Payments) is cleared within terms – 100% balance within 30 days.
Execute lead time and cost reduction plans in line with stretch goals
Monitor progress and close gaps to achieve committed goals of Import Cost and lead-time.

Education/Work Experience:
• Professional degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation and/or other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience required.
• Experience working with Procurement and ITrade Manager in negotiation with New suppliers in line with strategy developed by Management
• Generating SLEA and contracts with New Supplier
• Owner of Bid process – RFP, analysis, comparison charts, etc…
• Owner of Budget forecast process.
• Ensuring Suppliers are trained in invoicing process and comply
