Description:

The Shared Services Center based in Costa Rica and part of Global Operations currently is in the need a of dedicated Instructional Designer to act as a member of the Training Department. The instructional Designer role is to design and develop instructional material for customer training courses that support company technical products. Demonstrate and utilize effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. The person will develop entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences, and s/he will need to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with Operations teams, subject matter experts (SMEs) and others on the Training Department team to support corporate launches and department initiatives
• Partner with Operations to propose and advocate for effective customer-centered solutions and to build associates’ comfort, confidence and competence in resolving customer issues.
• Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet learning needs.
• Design and develop creative learner-centered, performance-based training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, device learning labs, job aids, facilitator and participant guides, and resource materials.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives from scope to evaluation in closed-loop process
• Acquainted with adult learning methodologies.
• Analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service
• Use innovative and new marketing techniques to prepare global presentations/demos for internal and external customers.

Requisitos para aplicar

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Instructional Design, or related subjects.
• Fluent in English (C1 spoken, reading and written).
• Minimum of two years of instructional design experience.
• Solid experience in an Instructional Design role, ideally experience in a major corporate training environment featuring both in-person, virtually facilitated and fully self-directed programs, working on instructional design assignments across multiple teams or groups highly desired.
• Comprehensive knowledge and proven application of learner-centered, performance-based instructional theories and adult learning principles in multi-modal instruction
• Excellent planning, organizational, communication and time management skills
• Self-directed project management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently
• Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated proficiency and familiarity in Camtasia, Snagit, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Prezi and other software related tools.
