Descripción general

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works generally self-supported in the following tasks:
• Supports Administrative Functions such as but not limited to:
o Adding & Disabling local CR “Costa Rica” users in Active Directory / Office 365
o Resetting Passwords
o Maintaining Resources
• Support IT Security Functions
o Building door access
o Video surveillance
o Multifactor Authentication enforcement
• Procurement of Small Tools/Equipment to support IT/User Needs
• Deploys, configures, and supports desktop environments “Windows, Linux, MacOS”
• Troubleshoots and resolves incidents related to hardware and software
• Analyzes and resolves network connectivity, VPN, and conference room equipment issues
• Follows defined processes to resolve incidents and fulfill requests
• Supports device and network security by maintaining endpoint protection and device management applications
• Supports and maintains phones, printers, monitors, and other IT assets
• Manages software licenses
• Supports offsite branches and user needs “if applicable”
• Maintains IT open issue log
• Supports IT supervisor for server level tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requisitos para aplicar

Language Skills:
Spanish and Fluency in English, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of the following preferred.
Office 365 Management
Networking
Wireless
Telecommunications
ERP
Project Management
Microsoft - Teams

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Support role
• Post High School education preferred
• Professional experience troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and Mac systems
• Hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and use of a wide range of software and hardware in a networked environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience writing documentation
• Experience supporting ERP’s, CAD, and Documents Control Solutions Experience with Office 365 preferred
• Experience with ticketing systems preferred
• Willingness to improve existing processes and develop new ones
• Able to demonstrate excellent customer satisfaction with an established track record of supporting IT helpdesk customers in a high-performing, reliable manner
