OVERVIEW: Provide outstanding client service by managing, monitoring and controlling a portfolio of client properties in Latin America within the contracted JLL scope. The focus is on guiding FM operations, overseeing service contracts, building & managing operating budgets and overseeing services staff. This role is situated in an energetic, innovative, and fast paced high tech environment.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide Oversight to JLL FM teams in Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina & additional Latin American countries as Client's portfolio grows.
• Support the client's portfoliopotential growth in the region by acting as primary in-country JLL contact for site operations, coordination of tenant improvements projects, overseeing and hiring ofcoordinating with project/construction teams, hiring new JLL staff to support office locationsexpansion, and taking the lead in managing setting up services in newthe office space.
• Coordinate internally with Client's other real estate/workplace teams in LATAM and U.S. including Security, EH&S, Transportation, Energy & Sustainability and Project Management, construction services.
• Develop strong working relationships and act aswith JLL in-country liaison with local JLL business functions & platforms, includingto include: HR, Client Accounting, Engineering & Compliance, Risk Management and Sourcing.
• Manage Vendor performance; ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to agreed standards.
• Identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies (process and cost) and make recommendations to the JLL Account Manager and client for consideration.
• Develop/improve administrative processes that increase operational visibility and confidence in JLL's service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures that relate to the site/s and are within JLL's contracted Scope of Work.

FINANCE MANAGEMENT / COST CONTROL
• Manage the annual budgeting processes for the site/s under your management, utilizing zero-based budgeting.
• Provide monthly variance analysis for the site (s) in Latin America/s under your control.
• Help to develop the annual Operating and capital plans for each building, interfacing closely with the client representative.

LEADERSHIP/STAFF MANAGEMENT
• Oversee teams in multiple locations, including oversite of a subordinate FM & his team in Costa Rica.
• Develop the team through performance assessments and training, managing staff workload through correct resourcing and developing a succession plan for key team members.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Project Management or related field is required.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish & English required. Tri-Lingual (Portuguese) ideal.
• Minimum 5 years of applicable facilities experience with responsibility for leading projects & teams.
• Experience working as an outsourced service provider is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of local health and safety requirements in multiple countries in Latin America
• Strong knowledge of building systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms including MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
