Senior ios developer

Design, develop and test software applications for medical software products or other
software related products for implantable medical device products. Independently conducts
the work as part of a major research and/or development project. Can provide technical
oversight and direction on broad scope or complex projects. Viewed as an expert in one or
more in-house technologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust iOS applications using Swift
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and backend
engineering
• Implement and integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and RESTful APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding
standards
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement
initiatives
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes

Key Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in mobile application development across iOS and Android
• Strong expertise in iOS application development using Swift
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration
• Solid understanding of RESTful services and API integration
• Proven experience in unit testing and integration testing (XCTest, XCUITest)
• Experience with Apple App Store deployment, including provisioning profiles,
certificates, TestFlight, and release management
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with modern iOS architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Familiarity with Apple frameworks and tools (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Core Data)
• Experience with dependency management tools (Swift Package Manager,
CocoaPods)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and Apple platform security guidelines

Nice To Have
• Experience with Android development (Java/Kotlin)
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as Xamarin or .NET MAUI
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, medical devices,
fintech)
