About the Team and Product

The team you will join is responsible for delivering accurate, consistent product information to internal stakeholders and customers across Boston Scientific. Our Enterprise Product Hub (EPH) is a core enterprise capability built on the Snowflake data warehouse platform, bringing together product data from multiple source systems and syndicating it to downstream enterprise platforms.
Product data is distributed both externally and internally to support a wide range of business needs. Externally, data is syndicated using industry standards such as GDSN, while internally it powers key platforms including our websites and tender response processes.
In addition, the team is responsible for managing Custom Product Groups (CPG) within the Informatica Reference 360 platform. These groupings organize products based on shared attributes and support use cases such as identifying alternative or related products.
Product information underpins over 80% of Boston Scientific’s business processes. Its accuracy and availability directly influence customer purchasing decisions, enable meaningful reporting and insights, and reinforce the strength and credibility of the Boston Scientific brand.

The Role
As Product Owner for Enterprise Product Hub, you will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You will be accountable for maximizing the value delivered by the product by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and guiding the Product Team through regular, incremental releases.
In addition, you will provide matrix leadership across a group of resources supporting the product, coordinating day-to-day activities and aligning contributions to backlog priorities and product goals. You will work closely with functional managers to ensure resources are effectively utilized and focused on delivering maximum value.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong ownership, prioritization, leadership, and collaboration skills within an Agile and Lean delivery environment.

Core Product & Delivery Responsibilities
• Act as the Product Owner for Enterprise Product Hub, accountable for maximizing product value and outcomes
• Own and continuously refine the Product Backlog, ensuring transparency, prioritization, and readiness
• Translate business objectives and user needs into clear Product Backlog Items with acceptance criteria
• Define and communicate Product Goals, using metrics and feedback to guide prioritization and decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure shared understanding
• Work closely with the Scrum Team to support Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Backlog Refinement
• Participate in Sprint Retrospectives and support continuous improvement
• Maintain and communicate a Product Roadmap aligned to strategic objectives and delivery capacity
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and governance of product data in partnership with business and data governance teams
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and constraints across teams and platforms
• Support regular product releases, ensuring readiness, compliance, and adoption
• Partner with fellow Product Owners to coordinate shared backlog items and aligned releases
• Contribute to change management, release communication, and stakeholder enablement
• Support resource and budget planning related to backlog priorities
Data Quality, Governance & Compliance
• Partner with business and data governance teams to define and uphold product data standards, quality metrics, and ownership models
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of product data across source and downstream systems
• Ensure product delivery aligns with regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements, including appropriate documentation and traceability
Stakeholder, Dependency & Risk Management
• Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly and transparently
• Partner with fellow Product Owners to coordinate shared requirements, dependencies, and aligned releases

Prerequisites and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project or product delivery roles
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a Product Team using Agile and Lean methodologies
• Proven track record delivering the full development lifecycle, from requirements through release
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solution-oriented mindset; comfortable working in ambiguity and taking ideas from concept to execution
• Experience working across different cultures and time zones
• Experience with the SAP Snowflake data warehouse platform is advantageous
