Descripción general

Develops, leads or supports medium to high complexity productivity/ capacity / continuous improvement projects under lean six sigma and other methodologies.
Identifies opportunities for processes and equipment to gain physical space, translating it into an improvement in productivity. Creates Value Stream Maps (time taking, waste measurement, balance and line standardization).
Promotes and coaches the use of methods, tools, models, through lean manufacturing culture, business process management with a structured way to achieve improvements, as well as to give validity and sustainability to these over time.
Leads brainstorming/kaizen sessions with other multifunctional teams towards the solution of various roadblocks, strategies, plans, or problem solving requests.
Performs cost analysis to quantify financial impact of improvements or engineering changes in processes .
Measures, analyzes, improves and integrates capacity of different manufacturing areas and leads tactical capacity planning processes of the manufacturing plant.
Develops capacity plans for a 52-week medium-term period, including hard and soft constraints such as equipment, facilities, headcount, applicable regulatory requirements among others. This plan must meet the anticipated demand, as well as ensure that the use of the plant is the most efficient possible.
Serves as a focal point in the identification, recording and analysis of data, which supports the measurement and analysis of current capacity, ultimately used as a baseline for long range planning and financial budget elaboration.

Requisitos para aplicar

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in production, planning or engineering positions, in high volume manufacturing environments.
Experience in design of work stations, material flow, BPM and lean manufacturing methodologies. ( experience in facilities and production process layout design is desirable).
Medium to high project management experience.
Competencies and behaviors:

Troubleshooting and addressing of roadblocks that may interfere in accomplishing goals. Tolerance to pressure while delivering output. Skilled at execution.
Communication skills: Face debate and challenge in meetings with engineers, managers and directors. Timely communication of plans, activities and strategies to all areas of the company.
Develop, propose and implement strategies and plans in short periods of time, with minimum supervision.
Education:
English level: B2-C1.
Software skills: Advanced MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project, Autocad 2D.
University Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
