SmileDirectClub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-paced dynamic engineering team working on building a system to modernize and automate high volume processes using a suite of domain-driven microservices. Knowledge of C++, Python, Java, Scala, or C# will allow you to create applications and services that cater to every facet of the SmileDirectClub business. • Experience with analytical 3D programming, manipulation, visualization, and linear algebra
• Experience with one or more of these tools
o Object-Oriented C++11/17 - Boost, VTK, OpenMesh, CMake
o Python 3.x – Flask, Tornado
o Java
o Scala - Akka
• Cloud experience preferably in Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Linux operating systems in production environments

Requisitos para aplicar

• Containerized development using Docker
• Familiar with Domain-Driven Design
• Familiar with Event Driven and Reactive distributed systems
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery mechanisms.
• RDBMS experience; Postgres, MySQL.
• NoSQL experience; DynamoDB, Mongo.
• Experience with concurrency and parallel processing
• 5+ years as a focused software engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
