System verification engineer

Job functions:
Own and execute system-level verification of integrated Neuromodulation products by translating requirements into verification strategies, developing and executing tests, investigating failures and technical risks, improving verification tools/processes, and providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and system-level testing, to support verification activities.
Assist in the development and support of verification tools, test environments, and automated test systems.
Help create, establish, and document verification processes and methodologies, and provide support for validation and verification activities.
Ensure that verification strategies cover detailed verification design requirements effectively.

Job requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in similar positions and/or within the medical devices industry. Proficiency in using automated testing frameworks is essential for efficiently conducting verification tests and ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), Dev Ops and CICD methodologies. Knowledge of languages such as Python, C++, LabView, and Matlab.
English level: C1 (Advanced)
Modality: This is a hybrid, permanent position located in America Free Zone, Heredia. Mo-Th from 7am to 5pm, Fr from 7am to 3pm.
