Description of Services
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong experience in SQL, Python, and Java to support the migration of our current on-premise database to a cloud-based solution (DaaS) hosted on GCP.

Responsibilities:
Analyze existing database schema and application logic.
Refactor and optimize SQL queries for cloud compatibility.
Modify Python and Java code to integrate with the new cloud database.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth migration with minimal downtime.

Deliverables
Fully migrated and operational cloud-based database on GCP.
Refactored SQL queries and updated Python/Java codebase.
Unit and integration tests validating data integrity and functionality.
Comprehensive documentation of migration steps, code changes, and post-migration support.
Performance benchmarks comparing pre- and post-migration results.

Standards & Requirements

Application development following industry best practices.
Compliance with internal security and data governance policies.
Performance testing to validate query efficiency.
Use of version control and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Project Terms
Availability for weekly progress reviews and status reporting.

Conditions
Language: English B2–C1 (fully bilingual – read, write, and speak).
Contract Type: Remote.
Salary Range: Up to COP $7,100,000.
