Wfm analyst - ukg time & attendance, workday & pay

Requirements
Must to have:
•WorkDay.
• UKG WFM (Kronos) Time & Attendance.
• Integrations.

• ETL (Extract/Transform/Load).
• WebAPI.
• Experience with designing and implementing ETL processes and the use of ETL tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Azure Integrations.
• Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries.
• Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
• Strong technical experience with XML and JSON.
• Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad).
• Experience with UKG APIs, Integration Hub, and file-based interfaces.
• Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• 2–4 years of experience with UKG WFM / Kronos Time & Attendance.
• Experience in Retail or high-volume hourly environments.
• Understanding of Workday HCM fundamentals, HR Core data structures, and payroll processes.
• Ability to interpret labor laws and translate into system rules.

Responsibilities
• Manage system integrations within the architecture of the HR/Finance system and middleware.
• Maintain and update UKG Time & Attendance settings (Pay Rules, Work Rules, rounding, overtime, scheduling rules, accruals, leave policies, meal/rest break rules).
• Manage country-specific calendars, public holidays, and compliance rules.
• Support store managers with timecard corrections, exceptions, and approvals.
• Monitor Workday-to-UKG inbound interfaces for new hires, rehires, terminations, job changes, pay rate updates, and location/store assignments.
• Perform daily reconciliation of worker and job data.
• Troubleshoot mismatches or failed integrations.
• Review and validate time data exported to payroll systems (regular and overtime hours, shift premiums, absence and accrual usage).
• Ensure compliance with regional labor and payroll requirements.
• Support payroll parallel testing and pre-payroll audits.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution.
• Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
• Ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements.
• Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate with other architects and technical leads on design decisions.
• Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests.
• Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.
• Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
• Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
• Produce reports for HR, Operations, and Payroll teams.
