Must to have:

Highly experienced SAP WM Senior Consultant with strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing warehouse operations in SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
Skilled in translating complex logistics needs into scalable SAP solutions that improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Deep knowledge of SAP WM functionalities: inventory management, putaway/picking strategies, transfer orders, bin management, and stock movements.
Strong understanding of warehouse structures: storage types, sections, bins, and control parameters.
Proven experience integrating WM with MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.
Expertise in RF integration, barcode scanning, and mobile data entry.
Hands-on experience with cross-docking, batch management, handling units, and hazardous materials.
Familiar with migration paths to SAP EWM and embedded WM in S/4HANA.
Led SAP WM implementations, rollouts, and support projects globally.
Ability to analyze business processes and design warehouse layouts aligned with SAP best practices.
Configuration of WM master data, movement types, transfer requirements, and warehouse tasks.
Conduct workshops, create functional specifications, and manage testing and training.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory control and real-time visibility.
Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvement.
Assess current warehouse operations and identify inefficiencies.
Document business requirements related to inventory, storage, and logistics.
Design warehouse layouts and storage strategies based on SAP WM capabilities.
Configure warehouse structures: storage types, sections, bins, and control indicators.
Set up movement types, transfer orders, and inventory management rules.
Configure putaway and picking strategies (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, shelf-life).
Execute unit, integration, and user acceptance tests (UAT).
Validate system behavior for inbound/outbound processes, stock transfers, and inventory counts.
Troubleshoot configuration issues and resolve process errors.
Monitor daily warehouse transactions and system performance.
Support cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation.
Create functional specs, configuration docs, and user manuals.
Conduct training for warehouse staff and key users.
Maintain change logs and transport documentation.
Support data migration from legacy systems to SAP WM.
Assist in transitioning from SAP WM to SAP EWM (if applicable).
Ensure business continuity during cutover and go-live phases.
