Backend Developer (Java / .NET)

We are looking for a Bilingual Software Developer (Java / .NET) to join our team and help design, build, and maintain enterprise applications that support laboratory business operations.

In this role, you will work closely with software engineers, cross-functional business teams, and laboratory stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both new application development and the support of existing systems.

**Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test solutions for web and backend applications.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications built with Java and Microsoft technologies.
• Contribute to new software development initiatives using Java and .NET technologies.
• Develop and support integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
• Provide technical support and assist internal teams with application-related needs.
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc data requests.
• Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches to improve development processes.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation when required.

**Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong English skills (will be verified during the interview)
• 2+ years of experience in software development or LIMS administration.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience using Azure DevOps.

**Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET Framework, Java, or JBOSS.
• Experience with LabVantage LIMS.
• Experience developing APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Power BI or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Experience with software validation processes.
• Experience working with laboratory or scientific systems.
