Requirements
Must to have:
Strong experience as a Senior Cloud Administrator in an AMS (Application Management Services) environment.
Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments.
Proven experience in incident management, escalated ticket resolution, and production support.
Strong skills in root cause analysis and implementation of long term remediation strategies.
Experience with proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization of cloud environments.
Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure management, including patching, updates, and configuration changes.
Solid understanding of cloud security principles, access control, identity and role management.
Experience working with ITSM tools and AMS operational processes.
Ability to automate routine operational tasks using scripts or cloud-native automation tools.
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams, including development, operations, and security.
Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Strong understanding of SLA management and service delivery in enterprise environments.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, support driven environment.
Experience mentoring junior administrators and promoting best practices.
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration and support roles.


Responsibilities
Provide senior level AMS support for cloud environments, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.
Handle escalated support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with clients.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor cloud platforms to ensure system health, performance, and compliance with operational standards.
Apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain security and operational excellence.
Manage cloud access controls, roles, and permissions in accordance with security policies.
Support application performance tuning and troubleshoot infrastructure related issues.
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to align AMS activities with business objectives.
Continuously improve ticket resolution processes and contribute to SLA adherence.
Create, update, and maintain documentation for cloud operations, incident handling, and AMS procedures.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on cloud and AMS best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in periodic audits of system configurations and access controls.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
