Requirements
Must have:
• Senior-level expertise in the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of distributed in-memory data platforms, with a strong focus on VMware GemFire (formerly Pivotal GemFire) and Apache Geode
• Proven experience in mission-critical environments requiring low latency, high availability, horizontal scalability, and real-time reliability
• Design and deployment of distributed, replicated, and fault-tolerant GemFire clusters
• Migration from traditional RDBMS and NoSQL architectures to distributed caching environments
• Post-migration validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
• Development of integrated solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Spring Data for GemFire
• Automation of deployments using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Ansible
• Management of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Implementation of cluster security: TLS, LDAP, and granular access control
• Observability and monitoring using GFSH, Pulse, JMX, Prometheus, and Logstash
• Expert-level incident resolution, support, and continuous improvement
• Technical documentation of architectures, operational manuals, and best practices

• Document technical solutions and promote knowledge sharing across teams
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data platform strategies
