We're looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join the commercial team for a company focused on delivering high-value international logistics solutions to clients across Colombia and global markets.
What This Role Is Really About
We're not looking for a salesperson. We need a logistics-native commercial profile — someone who understands cargo consolidation and deconsolidation, speaks Incoterms fluently, has sold logistics solutions directly in the Colombian B2B market, and knows the difference between quoting DDP and FOB without having to look it up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for client acquisition and retention in the Colombian market.
- Sell international logistics solutions including ocean and air freight, cargo consolidation and deconsolidation, DDP, FOB, and related services.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing.
- Actively follow up on client accounts and invoice collection, ensuring timely payment within agreed terms.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to portfolio growth.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client commitments.
- Maintain an updated commercial pipeline and report progress directly to General Management.
What We're Looking For
- Technical, technology, or professional degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Senior-level experience in logistics and transportation sales — this is non-negotiable.
- Strong, working knowledge of Incoterms: DDP, FOB, CIF, EXW, and others applied in real commercial contexts.
- Hands-on experience with cargo consolidation and deconsolidation operations.
- Proven track record in B2B consultative sales in the Colombian market.s.
