We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to support Gallagher’s Global Business Resiliency (GBR) and Global Safety & Security (GSS) teams as part of our ongoing global mission and digital transformation journey. This role plays a critical part in enabling enterprise resilience, business continuity, crisis management, safety, and security outcomes by designing, building, and supporting modern business applications that enhance visibility, coordination, automation, and decision-making across a global organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform, complemented by solid .NET development experience and a strong foundation in SQL database design and development. You will deliver scalable, well-architected solutions—including applications, workflows, dashboards, and collaboration tools—that support operational resilience, incident readiness, and global safety and security programs.
Design, develop, deploy, and support business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), OutSystems, and pro-code extensions, applying strong practices across architecture, security, performance, and maintainability.
Design, build, and maintain SQL Server databases and data models supporting applications, reporting, and integrations, including database objects, performance tuning, data integrity, security, and access controls. 
Develop automated workflows and system integrations using Power Automate and Azure services (e.g., Functions, Logic Apps) to eliminate manual processes and modernize business operations. 
Design, build, and maintain Power BI *** ******.*** dashboards and reports, integrating data from SQL Server, Dataverse, Power Apps, SharePoint, and enterprise platforms, and defining KPIs to support decision-making. 
Extend Power Platform solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerApps Component Framework (PCF), and C#/.NET, including designing and consuming REST APIs and custom connectors. 
Own and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, document libraries, permissions, navigation, and integrations with Power Platform solutions. 
Troubleshoot, enhance, and support applications, databases, dashboards, and integrations across development, test, and production environments, participating in deployments, upgrades, and platform governance. 
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions, document designs and data architecture, and promote best practices for adoption and continuous improvement.
Several years of professional application development experience with a strong understanding of application architecture, security, and performance. 
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and extensive experience with Power Automate. 
Strong SQL Server expertise, including designing, building, and maintaining databases; writing complex queries, views, and stored procedures; and optimizing performance for application and reporting workloads. 
Experience with pro-code development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, or Web APIs. 
Proficiency with Power Fx and experience extending solutions using JavaScript or TypeScript, including hands-on development of PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls. 
Experience designing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and Monday.com. 
Experience maintaining SharePoint sites and pages, including content management, permissions, and site organization. 
Strong communication and project management skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
Advanced experience integrating SQL databases with Power Apps, Power BI, and enterprise .NET applications 
Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or custom connectors 
Understanding of Agile methodologies. 
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) 
Experience working in enterprise environments with governance, security, and SDLC standards 
Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives through application modernization 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
Several years of professional application development experience, including: 
Power Apps and Power Platform development 
.NET application development 
SQL database design and data architecture 
Integration of applications, data sources, and reporting tools
